Oww... so I went out with Barbie last night and I must have... well, I must have gotten some new piercings. They hurt a little bit, but hopefully they'll be fixed sometime soon. I don't know what it is. I think we might have gone to a piercing place? But I don't remember it... But it's okay. I guess I'll just have to find some jewelry for my new additions!
This is my belly button. See how red it is where the piercing was? You'd think I had it done at a parlor, there'd be a ring in there, right?
Another piercing. I guess they call it a "Monroe". It's kind of cute, but right now it just hurts to do much, let alone blow kisses.
I'll give it a few days and see what happens.

Just perfectly suiting your wonderful green eyes! As for the Monroe, use a black-coated knob and it will look like a real beauty mark.

ReplyDeleteMy advice would be - from a medical perspective - to at least put on some simple surgical steel jewelry, which should reduce redness, swelling and pain and lower the risk of an infection and scarring.
You should also cut back on alcohol for at least a few days.
After the openings have healed you can still decide to take off the jewelry - they will close up relatively soon, most likely without leaving scars.
And, if you don't mind a personal note - because of the "Monroe", your nose looks a bit on the bigger side now. If you need a professional advice in that matter, feel free to contact me.
A little procedure to correct shortcomings like this isn't really a problem nowadays, and not as expensive as you might think.
